We do not make telephone 'cold calls' or supply your details to anyone else. Please check to make sure the address details you enter are full and correct, especially the postal code. Information you give us about your favourite artists and subjects will only be used to make sure you receive mailings from us that are relevant to you if you have opted to be on our mailing list during the checkout procedure. All our emails have the option to unsubscribe by replying with your personal code (which is in the email). Please note that you must opt-in to the mailing list each time you order by ticking the TRNSPARENT OPT-IN box. This has to be done like this by law and if you leave the box blank we are obliged to unsubscribe you from all mailings.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping cart. When you have finished your selection just go into the checkout procedure by clicking the 'checkout' button where you will be asked for the address details etc that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your currency before it appears on your statement. To get an idea of your order value a free currency converter is available at www.xe.com.

We accept practically all credit and debit cards through our 100% PCI DSS compliant checkout that uses the Creditcall payment provider system. This includes American Express cards. We also have PayPal instant checkout for those who prefer this option.

These terms and disclaimer and any claim based upon the use of this website as well as all purchases and the nature of such purchases shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes arising from the use of this website shall be non-exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All customers, no matter their location, are bound by this and any purchase made includes acceptance of these conditions.
Shipping And Handling For most items we have one price for packing, insurance and shipping per order so the more you order the cheaper it works out.

Within the United Kingdom the basic shipping charge is £6.80p per order, within Europe it is £17 per order and outside Europe it is £21 per order. These charges are for prints (ltd, std or posters etc) and T-Shirts.

Framed prints or posters and one or two heavy books etc will have surcharges added to the above to cover the extra packing and shipping costs involved for these items. All charges are clearly displayed before you go to the final payment stage.

All orders are shipped by insured and tracked services.
Delivery Schedule Orders for delivery within the UK usually arrive within two weeks of ordering and often within one week or even next day but this will vary according to our workload. International can also arrive within one week but this varies by country. If you are buying a present for someone and need to receive your order by a certain date then the best thing is to contact us by email. We will do everything we can to help you.

Orders that are to be shipped to a delivery address other than the card registered address will not take any longer even though there is additional security checking.

During the pre-Christmas period we have extra staff and orders are dispatched according to the same schedule as at any other time of the year but please check the shipping message in your shopping cart as this will tell you whether your order can still be shipped to your destination in time on the standard service or whether you will need to purchase a courier upgrade.
Back Orders At least 99% of the items shown on our website as being in stock are currently in our warehouse ready to be shipped or to go immediately into our workshop for framing so it is extremely unusual for us not to be able to supply anything that is ordered on our website. In the very rare event that there should be any problem with us supplying what is ordered we would contact you immediately about the issue.
Tax Charges UK taxes are applied as necessary but all orders for delivery overseas are supplied free of UK taxation. In either case the prices you see are the prices you pay. There are no hidden tax charges but different countries will have different policies regarding their import duties.
Credit Card Security Artists UK is 100% PCI DSS compliant. This means that at no time do we see your card details. You are only asked to enter your card details after you have been transferred to our payment service provider's secure server via a secure SSL connection. This is the highest level of security available for credit and debit card transactions using SSL and the latest secure card processing system available. Even if you decide at some point to place your order by telephone because you wish to discuss some aspect of the order such as the framing, we will input your card details into the same system and no record of them will remain on our computer systems or in hard copy.

NOTE FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE USA

Some card-issuing banks in the USA place a blanket block on cardholders making purchases outside of the USA.

If your card is declined at the checkout you may need to contact your card issuer to have this block removed. We are sorry for this inconvenience but the policies of the card-issuers are not under our control. We have not seen this happen with American Express though so you may prefer to use an American Express card if you have one.
Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. It is very rare for an order to be damaged in transit because we have years of experience of packing these types of goods. However, if your order arrives damaged then package it up in the same packaging it arrived in (strengthening where possible) and return it to us. We will replace the damaged items and refund your return cost up to our shipping charge.

We make every effort to ensure that the descriptions and photographs of all our products are accurate but if you are dissapointed with your purchase in any way then please let us know and we will do everything we can to put matters right.

Privacy Policy Artists UK do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. The site can also remember your details for when you visit again. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders

b. Administer and enhance the site and service

c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

There is a transparent opt-in tick box during the checkout for our mailing list. This list is only used by Artists UK and never sold or used by anyone else. Every email has clear simple instructions for unsubscribing at any future date. All unsubscribe requests are actioned within 24 hours. All data is kept secure and treated at all times in accordance with the relevant GDPR legislation. The Artists UK Full Privacy Policy is avaialble on request to anyone who has been in contact with us due to making an enquiry or ordering from us.
Returns Policy If your order arrives damaged or is faulty then you can return it to us. We will replace it or refund you in full if we cannot dispatch a replacement within two weeks as well as refunding your return postage costs (up to the amount we charged for shipping to you).

If you decide you don't want it after all you can return it within14 days after receipt in the same condition it was sent to you for a refund of the cost of the item or items. These returns are shipped at the customer's risk and in the event of loss or damage the customer will need to make the appropriate claim to the postal service in their country.

The time limit for returning items for any reason is two weeks from receipt for orders delivered within the UK or four weeks from date of order dispatch for orders delivered overseas. If in doubt, please contact us prior to sending the item(s) off to us.

Please note that in the event that we need to refund you above the amount you initially paid and you live outside the UK you will need a PayPal account to receive additional payment because the banking anti-money-laundering regulations prevent us refunding above the amount you paid us initially. You can also opt to have the additional amount held as a credit against a future purchase from Artists UK.
Remittance Terms All orders are to be paid for in advance of dispatch. If an order is placed without payment through the secure on-line checkout we will send you regular reminders if we do not receive payment in case your cheque or card info has gone astray. If we do not receive payment then we will eventually cancel your order and notify you by email that we have done so.

You can cancel your order at any time up until one or more of the following points has been reached:

1. Your order has been packed and is in the loading bay.

2. Your order includes framed items and the framing work has already commenced in our workshop.

3. We have commissioned work or undertaken commitments on your behalf that have involved us in financial or resource outlay.

If you need to modify or add anything to your order we will do everything we can to help. The best way to go about this is to email us with your order reference and what it is you would like to change or add to your order.

We reserve the right to supply small prints listed as mounted (matted) that are ordered in with large unmounted prints also unmounted so they can be shipped together.

In the event that the payment method you used becomes invalid due to a chargeback or other claim against Artists UK that results in an order being delivered and not paid for then payment must be made within one month of receipt of goods. After that time, interest will be added to the outstanding amount at the rate of 1% per month (compounded) until such time as the debt is cleared plus all legal expenses and staff costs involved in recouping the amount owed, which will also attract the same level of interest. These terms are binding for any customer but may be reduced or annuled at the sole discretion of Artists UK depending on the individual circumstances and the degree of communication maintained by the customer regarding the outstanding amount. Only clear cases of fraud will be treated with the maximum severity.
